April WASDE 2025
Corn
The USDA pegged domestic carryout at 1.465 bil bu, lower than the average trade guess by 45 mln bu. Carryout was lowered 75 mln from last month, this came from an increase in exports by 100 mln bu and a reduction in feed of 25 mln bu. No changes to South American production estimates.
Soybeans
Domestic carryout was lowered 5 mln bu to 375 mln bu. The USDA upped crush demand 10 mln bu and offset that slighty by increasing imports 5 mln bu. No changes to South American production estimates.
Wheat
The USDA recuded exports by 15 mln bu and added imports of 10 mln bu resulting in a domestic carryout of 846 mln bu. Hard Red Wheat carryout added 26 mil bu.
Bottom Line
No fundamental changes in the April WASDE. Back to trading seasonals and Washington.
